What disturbed was when i entered the bathroom there was feces present and it was hard and you can tell had been there for weeks. If there is housekeeping how can anyone have this present in the bathroom and on the floor to where it had to be soaked to be cleaned up. This and other rooms had food where it looks like someone tossed a plate across the room and left food everywhere.
You have to stay on them and be present to make sure they care for your loved one properly. The facility is pretty clean and I never smelled an odor. The rooms are a nice size and the residents have a private bathroom and sink. Not all is bad here but like I said earlier, only place your loved one here if you can visit daily or if they are pretty independent and can change and feed themselves.

DestinyShuttles is another local transit program for seniors administered by the Destiny Center. We visited for 2 hours and no one ever came to the room at all. I even turned on the light for help and still no one came.
The State needs to shut this place down. Toured the facility with my sister when we were looking for a place for my Father. We chose an eldercare home that was closer to where my sister lived, that was the only reason we did not choose Majestic.

They did not help our 84 year old loved one eat after a stroke, nor provide her with fluids. She was dehydrated after 3 days and had to be transported to the hospital. I have a relative that is a patient at this horrible facility. Patients are all over the facility unattended and being treated like animals. The staff members on the third floor are rude and heartless. One CNA refused to put the patient in the bed stating she is not covered under Workers Comp and she is not hurting herself. The food is sometimes unrecognizable and they just dump the trays whether the patient can feed themselves or not.
While there, we noticed that their CNAs are extremely understaffed and overworked. The CNAs are pleasant but it’s only so much they can do and it’s not their fault they are stretched so thinly. While the nurses are friendly, they are not the best communicators. They would not answer the phone nor return my calls. What’s funny is that when I was finally allowed to visit, I noticed someone was always at the nurses station. They were purposely avoiding my calls all those times.
